Amplify

As Product Manager with Amplify, I build educational technology products and ensure they work well in classrooms—driving interoperability, authentication, and login across Amplify's products.

Amplify creates high-quality, next-generation K–12 core and supplemental curriculum and assessments, reaching more than million students in all 50 US states.

2021 - 2022

InnovateEDU

As the Technical Lead for InnovateEDU’s Project Unicorn, I worked nationally with school districts and ed-tech vendors to develop data interoperability strategy and solutions, with an ultimate goal to improve data interoperability across the education sector.

My work included 1:1 advising with edtech vendors and school districts, contributing to publications including the State of the Sector Report, authoring a technical assistance strategy, presenting at conferences, planning and hosting webinars, and performing data analysis about industry trends.

2014 - 2020

KIPP NYC

As Director of Data and Analytics with KIPP NYC, I led a team managing high school data and school operations, as well as post-secondary data and analytics with KIPP Forward. I oversaw the transition of post-secondary data to the team’s portfolio in 2018, resulting in a 230% increase of students served annually.

My work spanned data analysis and reporting, school operations (creating a master schedule, overseeing standardized test administration), and implementing education technology.

I was promoted from Data and Systems Manager to Senior Manager of Data and Systems in October 2015, and to Director of Data and Analytics in July 2019.

As a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University, I focused on analytics, education policy, and management in my coursework, with a goal to develop leadership and quantitative skills to make meaningful contributions in the education sector.

  • Managed Heinz College’s Alumni Mentor Program, leading a team of four other graduate students. Oversaw the recruitment of mentors, program marketing, hiring processes, and transition to online processes. In my tenure, we increased program participation by 130%.

  • Received the 2014 Barbara Jenkins Service Award, which is awarded to one graduate per year for demonstrating service to the Heinz College community and contributing to the quality of life for residents in the Pittsburgh region.

  • Served as Co-President of the Education Policy Club

  • Projects completed:

As a member of the Remake Learning Digital Corps, I instructed K-8 students in after school programs in coding, robotics, and app development using e-learning tools.

Summer 2013

Education Pioneers Fellowship, NYC Department of Education

As a graduate student, I was selected to participate in the Education Pioneers Graduate School Fellowship, which provides professionals with an opportunity to engage with critical challenges in the education sector.

Through the Fellowship, I worked with the NYC Department of Education as Academic Policy and Systems Associate. This required gathering feedback and requirements from eight offices across the DOE.
